:rotfl: Suzy Smith eh BTVB! Good taste - I myself have a little black number which must be 10 years old but I love it! Haven't seen 'em around for a while...

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Fragrances:

Can confirm this: Today I managed to get the limited edition summer fragrances (in this case Stella Sheer for 17.50 and some YSL men 17.50) reduced. Yesterday they had scanned at full price. So thanks for the person who reported overhearing an SA say that today the reduction on summer stuff would start. So all the fragrances that have a blue shelf edge label saying "limited edition" are likely to be reduced. On top of that there were reduced price fragrances yesterday already, and these are regular ones.

    Pharmacy counter voucher:

Managed to use one of the "save £1 today" vouchers wys £5. These were at the pharmacy counter and are A5 size. Only valid until today on almost anything (does not include prescriptions, infant milk, postage stamps, gift cards vouchers, health insurance.

    Hi folks

A heads-up for those with multiple Advantage Cards registered at their address...

A friend of mine told me the other day that Boots "Profit Protection Group" has cancelled several advantage cards registered at her address. (Each family member had their own card and each parent had signed up to the Parenting Club.)

Boots have actually accused her of fraudulent activity! She's rather pi55ed off given that no phantom pregnancies have been invented in her case.

I just wanted to warn others that Boots may be having a bit of a crackdown on multiple accounts. (I don't keep up with the thread these days, so sorry if it's already been mentioned.)

I think if you've got tons of points on several cards and have had a phantom pregnancy ;) you might want to be a bit careful. (My mate lost a load of unused points.)

    Dave

We are allowed to have 2 cards at same address if they are in two different names aren't we? Don't terms & conditions say something like you can't have 2 cards for one account (like you can with Nectar) but that other members of your family can each have their own card.

    Translated I think means.........

Pure Poison elixir has a slightly different smell to pure poison (so we can charge you more)...It's big floral smell will make you feel sensual and sexy and is addicitive. The jasmine and orange blosson smell will make you want to bow down and worship it. (probably so we can charge you more for the experience of using it) The round spray bottle is like old fashioned bottles (so we can charge more..)and will take you back to the heyday of the 20's when perfume was the must have accessory. (And for this we will charge you more.)

    Fantastic :T

RedBalloon...try John Lewis or Debenhams (or even eBay) for Suzy Smith bags :)

Any of the stella mcartney fragrances but I think they will only be reducing the summer 2008 version today 100ml.If you like rose smelling perfumes this will be gorgeous and even if you wear it everyday it will last and last.I still have a quarter of stella 2007 left which I wear everyday.

I've already mentioned I got the Sheer one (summer fragrance ??) half price (only as of today, yesterday was 35, full price). But they also had a Stella in Two half price yesterday. So might be worth checking if one of the sizes is reduced. It looked a national thing, with the SEL.
  • Is it tomorrow that a load of No7 reduced stuff is due to be put out in the "top 29" stores (odd number!!). Am holding on to my pinkies with excitement.

Also, aren't we due a bonus points day of some sort - I was thinking this would happen on Saturday of the bank holiday weekend - might be 10pts per £1 wys over £15 or something. I have deliberately been holding off buying some cotbed sheets for DS.

Its the lash extensions I think, but theres none of it left in my store. If there is any its still priced at £10 on the SEL but scans at £5
Cogito ergo sum. Google it you lazy sod !!
  • I meant to report back - I went to Cambridge City Centre store the other day and they had two of those Benefit make up bags that someone posted a picture of on here the other day, they are black with a lime green picture of doll on front or something. Sadly not on clearance there, £29.95 I think but very nicely designed with elastic loops to contain tubes of mascara etc. Anyway I do recall a couple of people were highly excited by these bags and said they were really hard to get now so if you really want one, that's where to go.
...I am kicking myself for not getting one now as when I've used all these pinkies I am going to need something new to keep my make up in! (especially as I am a rare freak who does not use a make up bag) Rats, can't really justify the petrol twice in one week to go back.
