Firstly, it was obvious to me that scotsmum had not meant anything negative as I must say during emails with her she is an extremely lovely, helpful lady and has been very sharing recently on this thread.
However, whilst pash may have wrongly taken the post completely differently than it was put across, this is unfortunately probably due to there being a few new posters to the thread recently who are very short and demanding with their ways.
Pash certainly is not a Norris Cole type and is always VERY welcoming to all posters and will be the first to hold her hands up and say 'oops made a mistake there!' and appologise if she has got it wrong. Infact knowing her she will be gutted if she has upset anyone at all.
I'm not posting this to stick up for anyone or to say you were wrong, as I am fully aware of the sheer nasty behaviour of some older posters to newer ones on other parts of MSE, as with all forums, but I just wanted to point out that I feel pretty sure that your comments about pash may apply to alot of members at times, but not pash in the case.
I agree with some of what you say. But I am of the belief that if you have nothing nice to say then keep quiet!I've been around here long enough to see things blow completely out of proportion.

The boots in Livingston reopened last week and is huge! Its not fully stocked yet though so i would give it wee while before popping out there. Not any bargains to be had that i noticed as shelves were pretty empty. Did get the last packet of weaning spoons for 55p as DD seems to gobble spoons up!Tesco Points : 19288 :j :jBoots Points : 6044Pigsback Points : 99

I've turned my Mum into a Bootser! She was going to buy some No7 makeup yesterday so I told her to put £5 credit on her phone to get the two till spits first. She did this and got £5 on her phone, got the till spit then only had to pay £3.75 for her makeup. In Corby there isn't any of the cheap Time Delay on the shelves so she hasn't used that voucher yet.
I managed to get a magazine too, I've not had any of the TS yet. We'll go back today or tomorrow to see what they have. Our Boots is really small though and no SS tills.
At the till my Mum questioned why I was telling her to get a magazine. I've told her than when we are in Boots she should do as she is told and not ask questions. :rotfl:Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

I was going to do a shop today but I had to read all the posts and before I knew it I had left it too late.
I am very lucky being in Glasgow - I have 2 stores in the west end where I am based and then a mile away is the city centre where there are 3 huge stores (I'm excited just typing it!)
Don't forget QUeen Street and Central stations too !!0 -
