    Here we go

As you can see from receipt I bought 1 baby rice and 1 cereal

I then handed over 1/2 price baby rice voucher then 1/2 price baby cereal voucher so ended up paying 88p for the both of them.

not sure if this is exactly the same as what op was saying but that happended to me anyhow so hth

Ok, thanks for the info, Im thinking that maybe the OP had two of the rice ones with different bar codes? that may explain the half price coming off twice as with the expert items? If in the OP case SA had scanned one of each, same as was your case then the price would prob have been 88p same as you. Will have to check out my coupons see what the barcodes are. May get to try this 2mrw and report back. :j

Im sorry but Its late, there was no tone it was as simple a message as I could type one handed while feeding babe while exhausted at night, and hoping the poster would notice before we move on another 5 pages. I am very nice to all money savers, posting my lists and glitches etc for everyone, posting coupons and gifts to other members so please dont rant at me! :p

People can be too quick to jump on others and make assumptions and to me that can get peoples backs up also. Rant over.

Goodness me!!! Pash must be in a bad mood!! How could the posters original post be classed as containing a tone? It is mearly a question.

Im only new, but as usual on these types of things, there is always a "Norris Cole" type user *(pash)* who thinks they know everything and think they have a self appointed authority over more junior members.

Now that really gets my back up!!! rofl :rotfl:

Firstly, it was obvious to me that scotsmum had not meant anything negative as I must say during emails with her she is an extremely lovely, helpful lady and has been very sharing recently on this thread.

However, whilst pash may have wrongly taken the post completely differently than it was put across, this is unfortunately probably due to there being a few new posters to the thread recently who are very short and demanding with their ways.

Pash certainly is not a Norris Cole type and is always VERY welcoming to all posters and will be the first to hold her hands up and say 'oops made a mistake there!' and appologise if she has got it wrong. Infact knowing her she will be gutted if she has upset anyone at all.

I'm not posting this to stick up for anyone or to say you were wrong, as I am fully aware of the sheer nasty behaviour of some older posters to newer ones on other parts of MSE, as with all forums, but I just wanted to point out that I feel pretty sure that your comments about pash may apply to alot of members at times, but not pash in the case.

My thanks buttons have disappeared again

This thread has fast become one of my favourites on the site, and is full of really nice people, quite a few of who I have had good convo's with :D

We are all here to help each other out, as for the way things are written, as can be seen above it is never possible to tell what the poster is doing at the same time, ie in scotsmum's case she was feeding the bairn. Sometimes it is good to remember that what is read is not necessarily what was written. Now it's easy to have a misunderstanding but I don't think stereotyping and name calling is a very nice thing especially against someone who offers so much help and advice to people on this thread. :(

Lets all be nice to each other. We are all here for the same thing, to get the most out of Boots. :)

    Ikkle xx

  • Hmmm...tried the tester of Pure Poison Elixir a few weeks ago and I think the tester had gone off - it smelt really really rank - it wasn't just that I didn't like it, something was definitely wrong with it :( Is it simply normal Pure Poison but a stronger version or what?

C'mon scorpiokitten...we want to see a photo of your BIIIIIIIG stash :D Maybe I should post an updated photo of my makeup stash sometime :rotfl:
