Im in same situation, my little babe will turn 1 on the 28th Dec. I do feel for all the kiddies having birthdays so close to xmas, and the mammys having to be extra organised. Want to make it extra special as this my last baby and have had a rotten year too.
some people who have a xmas birthday have a summer birthday celebration instead.. a bit like the queen, 2 birthdays!!! just a thought

one of each. boots tills won't accept 2 identical boots coupons.
so get 2/4/6 baby rice and use 2 different coupons and its free - bit like the expert glitch.

I thought you said in your original post that the SA scanned the rice one twice?

Not a long time ago someone reported that bought Boots Baby Rice (£1.49) and Boots Baby Cereals (£1.79) and handed 2 PC half price coupons - one for rice and one for cereals, and till charged only 0.88. Somehow the till deducted 0.74 OFF Baby rice twice.
Yesterday I took both baby rice and cereals and handed two different coupons: one for rice and other for cereal. Only at home noticed that SA scanned 2 x Baby rice (maybe he thought that I bought 2 the same boxes, as they look very similar), but both coupons worked leaving me to pay -0.01. As I done lots of other shopping noticed only at home.
    My receipt looks:

Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
Bts Org Bay Rice 1.49 NOW 0.74
    Saving £1.50

    Parenting club coupon save
    (Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
    (Includes Bts Org Bay Rice)
    Saving £1.50 NOW -1.50

    So -0.01 Overall

It lets me think that Half price coupon for cereals knocks half price off each rice and cereals you buy in one transaction. That would explain why others for Rice&Cereals paid 0.88

Someone who have both coupons may wish to do the same :)
And worth add to 1st post of this thread too :)

what did hew scan? 2 different? or 2 the same?

    night pash

in reply to your question scotsmum I personally think that it was one of each voucher that was scanned as I done this same transaction a few weeks ago and couldnt figure out why it took off so much money.

I will go see if i can find receipt

    Here we go

As you can see from receipt I bought 1 baby rice and 1 cereal

I then handed over 1/2 price baby rice voucher then 1/2 price baby cereal voucher so ended up paying 88p for the both of them.

not sure if this is exactly the same as what op was saying but that happended to me anyhow so hth

Of course, i'll help out the human kind too lol, and can be a personal shopper if need be. I have done this many times for people before on hereand have a fairly good resume, lol. So if you want something you can't get, let ol' SK know ;)

    xx
    TO SK
I saw a £3.50 reduced SEL today on TB bags (empty I hasten to add). If this was for a brown coloured leather look bag ( blokey looking ) pockets on the side, baggsy one for me, pretty please.

    TO ALL
Gonna check out the reduced perfumes tomorrow, OH bought himself some today with points. I don't wear it often enough so a new one might encourage me to do so......what is a nice one to go for? Opinions on a postcard INSIDE a Ted Baker bag to my address will suffice :rotfl: ...failing that pop the answer on the thread.
