Just popped on to say that I was refused the mitchum vouchers today - SA phoned Manager to come down and explain to me that they had had a note from head office to say that they were no longer accepted - I have done it about 6 times buying 2 at a time and only using 2 vouchers at a time since the glitch was first reported so I havn't torn the ar*** out of it I dont think just thought I would let you know that it might be comming to an end

sorry if it came across that the manager was rude but that could not be further than the truth, as it was lunchtime and the SA was on her own she called him to talk to me as she had a very long line of people waiting to be served, he was very nice and apologetic about the whole thing so no harm done just means I can't use them in that store

:rotfl: Yes I just stood there looking around too! The clearance shelf was a single shelf so you certainly didn't miss much - LOL.
I must make a trip to CO, never seem to get around to heading over that way but if they have a good clearance section then it would be rude not to!
(Have been waiting to use that 'rude not to' sentence for ages. )

2 lash extension no7 mascaras FREE WITH PINKYS
2 TD cleansers FREE WITH TILL SPITS
2 TD wipes FREE WITH TILL SPITS
1 no7 wipes USED PINKY £1.50 to pay but I love these
10 yes that TEN mitchums for me and OH £1.50 to pay (but broke down into differnet shops to get pinkys and spits)
1 TS serum
1 TS glosser 1p to pay!

Got loads of mags and till spits so can do it again on Friday if the glitch hasn't been busted by then!

Anyway. I popped in my card and scanned the can of mitchum - hadn't tried to use the voucher or anything like that yet. Up on the screen it said something like maximum number reached, assistance required - cue flashing lights and busy body

She voided the whole thing and told me to try again. I didn't dare put the mitchum through - I was saving my points for an umbrella (sad?) and was afraid of losing them, so I left the Mitchum to the right of my basket and put through the Mens Time Delay After shave balm. Again, same thing - maximum number reached, assistance needed. I just bolted upstairs with my precious advantage card and went to another till and bought the umbrella with the points immediately.

I wasn't doing anything wrong, I wasn't trying to steal or anything, but I swear the adrenalin has only just left my blood stream and now I feel like I could go to sleep!

Moral of the story - If you are reading the debate on this page and wondering how many is being greedy, for me it was 5 Mitchum and 3 Time Delay products!!
