Right, off to have a shower and take DS1 to his friends house. Have to call and post a parcel too.

    See you all this afternoon.

I have also managed to do some work on the dreaded clients books and I already feel a bit better about things. Might do some more later on.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

i like the latter penguin! but i know where you're coming from, it is a tricky one if you're not used to it.... funny though kids don't seem to mind!

Erin is having a sleep over at a friends tonight... must convince Big G that it is perfect opportunity to take me out for a curry!!

Popped to Asda yesterday after I'd been into work yesterday eve.

The 'Greeter' (or coffin dodger) was announcing reduced items over the tannoy system, "Vine ripened tomatoes now reduced to 25p for packs of 8."
A few people made their way down to take advantage of the offer, with hindsight I wish I'd have gone, could have made a fresh tomato soup but never mind.

About 5 minutes later he announced a new bargain "Best buy sliced corned beef packs of 8 slices, only 7p!"

Well you should have seen the scummy, huge gold earring, chips & blue pop brigade swarm to the front! some people were queueing at the tills with in excess of 30 packets of the stuff.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Really hope your car gets through the MOT Maz, its always a bit of a nail-biter isnt it?

Hows your studies going? Have you decided to go for the real exam.

EEKKKKK! I have just realised that my students exam relults are on the web for me to see today, off to have a look.........if I dare:eek:

This mot is £50 i could well do without paying out today if posssible, and that's assuming it passes! If it needs work done then Big g is paying for it....

17 outta 19 is good honey, and really it is a reflection only on the students, especially if what you say is true about them missing classes!

I am calling my tutor today to discuss..... not sure how many shots i get if i fail... will let you know. Thanks for asking honey.........
