2 good mates of mine are going to funerals today, one mate (of 30 years) is saying goodbye to a policeman who died from cancer and is leaving 2 kids and a wife behind. My mate has done a video eulogy for them kind of Love Actually style and my other mate is a coffin bearer for a sailor who died of cancer and he was only 21. I hope the day goes ok for them all. Oh hum, reality pill there me thinks.

Its so sad when people die so young. Cancer is just evil.

OH went to see his mate last night in the hospital. The only thing they are doing is keeping him comfortable then sending him home. No talk of operating. OH doesnt say much but he had been friends with this man for years and visits him every Sunday as he is a fellow "PC Gamer" and "technology Geek". So Sad.

Hey I got a PM last night from gogorichard asking an AQA question. It looks a bit dodgy and the poster joined in Jul and hasnt made any posts. The message asks some questions but has 2 lots of reply and forward buttons, looks a bit dodgy to me!

Looks like it. He lives alone too as his wife left him a few years back so I really dont see how sending him home can be in his best interest. He has no family to care for him, only friends.

Just have a carrot for lunch, they cancel out all the bad stuff and make you see in the dark. Thats what I tell myself anyway:D

morning everyone. Thought i would join the daily chat, but prob wont make it every day - is that ok?

Louise, my thoughts are with you and you OH, my girls lost their nana to cancer last month - just try and stay strong for each other, as well as OH mate.

I am off to civic centre today, to sort out housing. Am a bag of nerves - we are ringing up beforehand to make sure i can get straight in and dont have to wait too long.

OOh, and my unreg tesco clubcard i am selling on ebay is up to £41!!!!!:j
That will pay for the car seat i had to buy earlier in the week :T
