What Should I Do Ref.non Receipt Of Item

I won an item recently and was told it was posted second class last Saturday.Im not sure but thought I would probably get item Tuesday or may be yesterday.Still not received and seller not responding to polite email asking if definetely sent Saturday.

What should i do next? If i was not told posted Saturday then i would not be bothered but surely should be here by now.

A little paranoid as I asked about a buy it now price and was told to make an offer. My messaged offer was declined as not high enough and then won the auction at a third of the price declined. Therefore seller not too happy I feel-probably paranoid but just got a bad feeling about this one!!

Would appreciate any advice or third party opinion. Thanks

How did you pay? Approx cost?
  • It seems many people don't check their emails.

It's only 2nd Class so you've got to give it a bit longer really, its more then likely will turn up.

I'm going to look all clever and techie now..whilst not understanding a word of what I am about to type!

We have had several 'cookie stuffers' on here and I didn't even know what they were until some of the regulars gave me a quick lesson. So if you see posts disappear randomly, including ones from regulars where they may have quoted from a cookie stuffer post..I'm 'hiding' them until such time abuse can take a look at the original post. I have to remove the regulars posts as well as they still contain the bad links.

Now, if someone can expalin that better than me (which is entirely probable) please do so. If meanwhile anyone sees any posts with strange gifs or code please draw them to my attention as I can't see them using Firefox.

Still no response from Seller and now been a week since posted. Not sure what to do next as have always had item turn up.Im sure something dodgy but just want item. What do I do if seller is not responding and now beyond expected time? Custardy post calmed me slightly but he mentioned 4 days from Monday at worst?? Thanks

Look like you seller hasn't posted the item as they wanted more for it. Its strange how so many items are 'lost in the post' when there is an issue about the final bid price. I send out over 100 items a month by RM and haven't had one lost this year. Ask for a scan of the posing certificate and if you get no reaction open a dispute as soon as you can. If people put stuff on auction at a low starting price they must expect it to go cheap sometimes.

Are you allowed to edit the links out of 'normal' quoting posts, or only to delete them?
