BGs are only supposed to delete (ie hide) posts we should not edit posts at all. So apolgies to anyone whose posts I have had to remove as they quote a cookie stuffer. If you see any I have missed just put a note on the thread that you have advised abuse, and if i get their first I can delete them pending review.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm going to look all clever and techie now..whilst not understanding a word of what I am about to type!
We have had several 'cookie stuffers' on here and I didn't even know what they were until some of the regulars gave me a quick lesson. So if you see posts disappear randomly, including ones from regulars where they may have quoted from a cookie stuffer post..I'm 'hiding' them until such time abuse can take a look at the original post. I have to remove the regulars posts as well as they still contain the bad links.
Now, if someone can expalin that better than me (which is entirely probable) please do so. If meanwhile anyone sees any posts with strange gifs or code please draw them to my attention as I can't see them using Firefox.A cookie is an electronic signature that is placed on a user’s computer when they click on an affiliate link so that the affiliate network can track them all the way through to the sale and give the affiliate the commission.
It is possible to place an affiliate cookie on a person’s computer without them clicking on the link, simply by preloading the affiliate link in an iframe.
That way, if they (by luck) happen to go to the merchant’s page at some point in the future and make a purchase, the cookie stuffer will get the commission.
