6230 to 6230i
Just upgraded, want to move 400ish numbers from my 6230 to the 6230i. Cannot seem to persuade the Nokia PC suite to help. Backed up the 6230, but then when I connect the 6230i I "find" any files that it will put in. I have browsed my way to where the backup is, but it just says no.
Anything obvious that I'm missing?
TIA

i take it you can't just save the numbers to the sim and swap that between handsets?"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." (Mark Twain)0

I remember years ago the carphone warehouse use to have a facility where you took a sim card in and they would transfer all numbers onto the new phone even if you did not buy the phone from them and they done it for free.
Don't know if they still do it though but maybe worth giving them a bell0 -
yep figured you'd say that - use the sim as a memory stick - so transfer all numbers from the sim onto the handset memory on the 6230i and wipe the sim - stick it in the 6230 and fill it up again with the other required numbers. rinse and repeat."Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. Thats the way. I was kind of hoping for a whiz-bang computer USB event, but the old sim as memory stick was the way to go. I could have got 3 hours more sleep on Thursday had I realised.
Annoyingly I managed to whiz-bang USB my pictures and other useless stuff, but not the really usefull stuff.something missing0
