Quidco 3 Mobile Broadband

I signed up for the £7-50 a month deal and duly received confirmation of the deal and then the USB stick. All fine until I got the first bill for £12 per month. Usual 'customer services' nonsense then finally informed that the £7-50 rate only applies if I am an existing 3 Customer - which they know I'm not nor ever purported to be or even asked if I was.
Am now trying to send it back

  • How is this a Grabbit ? Think it needs moving to another place.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200
  • I don't get what it's got to do with Quidco either!
  • It is in the wrong place - prob should be on telecomms. But just to say I signed up forthe deal too (I am not a 3 customer) and all seesm to be going ahead at £7.50 - or at least this is what it said on the paper work. Having to raise a query with quidco though

my £12.50 quidco has been declined it says incorrect on it, I've raised an issue with quidco on it, I can't raise an enquiry because my decline shows under 3 not the 3 mobile broadband 5gb offer - and I'm not a 3 phone customer so looks like this is going to be major horlicks and I too will have to start the returns process................I did everything correct at my end..........

  • Thanks seatzie, I was slightly confused! :o
  • FYI: I have this, quidco tracked okay and I've had 2x £7.50 monthly bills (well over 7.50 but I also used SIM for phone calls).
    I had the original 3Gb version - they did a 5Gb later.
My bill does say "£15 with 50% loyalty discount" though....
(Never been a 3 customer previously)
    So worked fine for me.

I was not a 3 customer and I signed up to this deal on 30th July via Quidco, I received my first bill this week which was £15 minus £7.50 loyalty discount, making it £7.50 per month for the 5gb deal. Not sure if I received my £12.50 from quidco as it was the first time I had used that and I'm not sure what the score is with getting your cashback.

Marmitemayhem.... Daft question, How did you use the SIM ? Thought they were "stuck" into the USB key? Where you charged 'normal' rates (10p per text etc.)? Thanks
