Is my passport valid to US

We travel to the US alot, I have only once seen problems at immigration with someones passport.
As long as it is valid for the duration of your immigration permit (90 days for a non-working visitor) then it will be fine.
The biometric passports are often quicker at immigration as they are scanned and should be harder to forge. And you only get a stamp on entry, stating your immigration class and maximum stay, your green or white card will be stapled in the passport and will be taken on exit, any visa will be permantly applied on one of the pages (should you need one) and from Jan 09, you have to apply online for entry BEFORE travelling! Don't know how this system will work if you don't register but no doubt we will find out!These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
