*sticks a banana up Lenny's tailpipe!*

left my car at the Peugeot garage this morning so I've got a little 207 courtesy car.

fault on anti pollution yesterday, tyres are low tread on the front and air con is foisty.

Thank goodness it's a work lease car so I don't pay a penny for servicing, tax and any repairs!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

And you wonder why i ignored you! ( for the record, i never!)

Yeah, last year i went to council one with previous gti... but this one is going to local garage, big g is friendly with the guy now as they both into old vw's... and i think it will be in good hands...

Thankfully they have squeezed me in at short notice... nice man!

but it's booked in for a local fellow petrol head who big g is pals with, they have a common interest in ol VW's, so i think we'll be right. but i have used council before.. and yes i think it was a fail then a cheap fix elsewhere then back for a retest which was free... but isn't really supposed to be, i think he fancied me! ;)

Mine is due its MOT in a couple of weeks (last year cost me a fortune! In region of 1200).

Has anyone tried the council testing ones?

I was thinking of switching from my normal garage as OH always follows the mechanic around thinking he's going to rip me off. Thankfully OH is a former BMW mechanic.

Girlfriend in a coma, I know
I know - its really serious

There were times when I could
