Mmmmmm, I love Subway. I don't really eat meat though, and I'm not keen on their cheese, so they always look at me a bit funny when I ask for a veggie delight with no cheese.......then they look a bit puzzled and say 'errr......is that just salad?' (which it is).

I know I could make a salad sandwich at home for much less, but theirs taste so much better. And they have sweet onion sauce, which is gorgeous. :D

I've got something that is really bothering me and wonder if anyone can help...... You'll probably all think I'm a complete looney after this, but I keep thinking about a book I read about 9 years ago, which I know I really enjoyed and would like to read again, however I cannot remember what it is called or who it's by! If I tell you what I remember from the story, then maybe (just maybe) someone will know what I'm on about so I can look it up and get a copy!!!!

Basically, I remember it's a sort of 'end of the World' type story and there is a group of friends in it. I also remember something about skiing at the start of the story, like they're all on a skiing trip together and two of the group are boyf/girlf (they call each other 'beb' instead of 'babe').
Then I think one of them has an accident and goes into a coma and then the rest of the story is some random thing about them being the only people left in the World. I can't remember how it ends, but think it was a happy ending.

Anyone at all know what I'm on about????? It's really bugging me!!!!!!

another money question - well sort of.........

I have opened an A&L premier plus account, have been reassured by numpty that the online facilities etc are fine, and i can pay money in via a post office as there is no A&L near me....

£50 for opening an account thru quidco.
Another £50 from A&L for switching DD's, wages etc...... which i have signed up for too......

this wouldn't worry be greatly except i have just got new car insurance and set up the DD on old HBOS account, plus i am settling a lot of my debts at end of this month out of bonus so in theory the debits for switching will be greatly reduced if i wait until September to do the switch.......

do you think it'll be okay to nominate a day for switching after i've been paid and paid all the bills at end of this month...

I don't want to do anything to confuse matters and risk charges...

I'd rather do my own switching but the cashback is for using the whole service so should I let them get on with it?

    Am i control freak?

When we switched to A&L we got a form through with a list of our DDs asking which ones we wanted to switch. You could just switch the ones you'll be continuing and leave the ones you're going to pay off where they are.
