On the Orange website, they are now offering a Blackberry package of e mail + web browsing for only £2.50 per month. Can this be right, seems very cheap?
Called them to check and they said yes, that's what you get. Anybody taken them up on this? Is that what you really get?

Cheers.

    You should do.

I work for Orange, and I can confirm the offer is £2.50 a month ontop of your voice plan for unlimited BlackBerry email and web usage. You have to be using a BlackBerry device, however, or it won't be included in that price. It's the package that's normally £7.50 a month ontop of your voice plan.

    See www.orange.co.uk/blackberry for info :)

    Thanks for confirmation, Cheers.

The Blackberry is free on most tariffs, a charge on the lower end tariffs, same as any other phone.
    £2.50 is outstanding value.

Billbennett, do you know when the Blackberry plantinum is due back in stock?

    Cheers.

Nice deal, be very tempted by this now the 9000 Bold has come out :)
  • I'm on this package, but a bit of advice! check your orange account online often as they put sneaky data charges on it. and..... the whole internet isn't free, its just orange world, which is a lot, but you can get caught out by charges!

Make sure your blackberry package is on when you phone orange to register your phone to the network as mine wasn't!

Thats not the case with the BB bundle, eddy.

It's not just orange world thats included - thats if you dont have any bundle, there are some free to browse pages on OW, and out of those they're charged - but the BB bundle allows 250mb data p/m to be used for internet, email etc.

I would agree with checking with registrations that they've applied the BB bundle though.

  • Well I'll update you all on Me VS Orange when they try and add data charges to my Blackberry Bundle! the guy I spoke to today at billing understood and said he thought i was wrongly charged, but I had the correct bundles applied to my account for unlimited/250mb blackberry, but couldn't do anything until my billing day in about 20 days time... tick tock...tick tock.... ...
