Hi Sammy - I've just found a half price voucher for MOT's from the times newspaper.

Formula one Autocentres usually have a voucher in the local free paper, they are nationwide, my local one in Ipswich does a voucher for £29.99 for an MOT in the Advertiser local free paper
We have one in our town and their quotes for repairs are shocking! many people have come to us for a second opinion after the MOT there and weve done it for half the cost.also found some items that have failed when shouldnt have.not many people realise that they can appeal against any MOT testers decision after the test.the form you need is a VT17 appeal form or contact VOSA direct.
    Sorry :) :money:

Just goes to show they don't bother reading all the info given to them :)

Also have to remember that VOSA will do checks on MOT testers and if they are failing cars on things that shouldn't be failed on then they may lose their MOT license.

My daughter recently had her VW Golf serviced there and the clowns kept me waiting for over one hour whilst they tried to turn off the service light.

I telephoned a friend of mine in N.Ireland and he told me over the telephone how to turn off the light. When I told the clown that I had got the light off he asked me how I did it. My reply was 'after paying you dearly for a service, if you think that I'm going to let you know how I did it, you will have a very long wait' At that I got in the car and drove away.:D
