"Stay Wonky":D
:j:jBecome Mrs Pepe 9 October 2012 :j:j0 -
I once put on a pair of jeans (left on the floor overnight - well I was a teenager...) and something wriggled in oneof the legs so I whipped them off sharpish and out scuttled a beetle:eek:
My Mum had an even worse experience though - Apparently one morning she put on tights and walked down to the shops. Suddenly something started stinging her in a rather delicate area. Turned out there was a WASP in her tights which ahd been hibernating but her body heat woke it up and it wasn't happy about being trapped in her gusset!!!
OMG to the beetle and OMFG to the wasp.
Worst thing clothes wise for me was when I was walking to my hairdressers quite happily and a lady stood at her livingroom window started waving and pointing down to my feet. There trailing behind me was a pair of tights that I had been wearing the day before that was tangled up in the leg of my trousers.
My brother who lives in Thailand put his foot in his slipper and was bitten by a scorpion, not the deadly ones thankfully but still had to go to hospital.
My worst nightmare would be a spider on my person without me knowing it:eek:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

My poor OH was bitten to death on holiday too. He had a huge mozzie bite on the side of his face which swelled up something rotten...bless him.
He was also bitten on his legs and arms and the only thing that would ease the itching was roll on deodorant which was recommended by a local it worked loads better than the expensive tubes of sting/bite stuff we bought.
Tip for later use if anyone gets bitten on holiday.....use roll on deodorant. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
