thanks, as i said she got it done yesterday at 8am! BUt i did say her insurance would have probably been invalid! she seemed to think she just didn't have an MOT at all but i said to get her tax disk a few months ago she would have had to have it!0

On most policies a valid mot is not a condition of insurance.
The penalty depends on why the vehicle is brought to the attention of the police.0 -

Insurance is not usually invalidated by the lack of MOT, as I found out the hard way a few years ago.It's my problem, it's my problem

Up until yesterday it was 15 days late and she asked me what happens when you don't have one..? i have no idea tbh and thought id'e ask on here..the post r.e the garage ringing the persons mum just reminded me!!
