Transferring data from Nokia 6310i to Nokia 7600

Help is needed Please!!!


I have a 6310i phone. This phone came with the Nokia PC suite version 4.88, and I easily managed to download, edit and reload data from it and to it .
Now that I need to rerurn it my company since I am resigning, I have hundreds of contacts and other data that I need to move onto my new Nokia 7600 that I just got with "3" (E2save deal). The problem is that the 7600 uses NOKIA PC suite version 6, and they don't seem to be comatible.

Bearing in mind that both phones are locked (one on Orange, the ther on 3), is there any easy way to transfer data from the 6310i to the 7600.

a lengthy process but you could send each contact one at a time via bluetooth or infared

I read somewhere else that there can be problems with the different versions of the Nokia data suite.

How about this for a sequence:-
1) Copy all data from 6310i to your PC using old version of Data Suite. (The data should go into Outlook.)
2) Install new version of data suite on your PC. You may need to uninstall the old version for this to work, and clean your registry (and delete Nokia folders from your PC).
3) Copy all data from PC to new 7600.
