It's all too confusing - broadband & phone help please

I have option 3 with BT, free evening & weekend calls and unlimited broadband. I pay £51.00 per month for this. I also have the full sky+ package at £45.21 per month.
Would it be cheaper to upgrade to sky broadband & phone, or is there another package out there that would save me some money? I have looked at the sky website but am far too stupid to work it all out.
Cheers
Eddie

It would be cheaper to go with Sky as you would get free broadband up to 2mb. I don't know what the service is like though.0

First check to see if you can get Sky Broadband.
Put your phone number into the Sky BB site. The choice is then 2mb free, 8mb £5 or 16mb £10.
Do you really watch all the Sky channels? Why not trim the packages a bit?
Get rid of Movies or Sports, reduce the number of mixes down from 6 to 1 or two that you really watch. Cheapest package is £16/month for entertainment mix only. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I have just been given the price and package I wanted.
Unlimited Broadband = £10 per month
Unlimited Sky Talk = £5 per month
Sky World TV package = £47 per month
Total monthly cost = £62 per month.
This works out at £33.00 saving per month and a better package.:j0 -
You will still have to pay line rental to BT for the evening and weekend package, formally known as BT together Option 1, which is around £11.50/month.
Also its worth checking if your telephone line ( Try Samknows mapping) can support the Max broadband package, 'cos if it will only support up to 8mbps you may as well have the mid £5/month option. I know its capped at 40Gb but they don't enforce it.
How much are they rushing you for installation. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
They are not rushing me at all. I went to them to see if I could save money and get a better deal.
Not decided what to do yet.0
