the belgians, it must be said, tend to ignore laws they don't agree with, so it's going to take some time for the ban to take effect.
for anyone who's interested: brussels is bi - lingual (french and flemish) but the standard of spoken english is, in common with other cities in this part of the world, very good.miladdo0 -
I can confirm that the law doesn't seem to be enforced in Netherlands. I've been there for the past two weeks and nobody takes a blind bit of notice.0
