    Mine all the fans spun, but nothing else, i think the chip was fried, but i never worked it out, it just died, it wouldnt boot anything up at all, I gave up in the end.

    It could be the graphics card. Got another one handy to try?

    Most computers won't boot (but fans will spin) if the graphics card is not seated properly (or fried.)
