Will be on webpage around 18th August, yes issues dont last very long, wouldnt hurt phoning them and asking for an application form just in case they can send you one to arrive by 18th August.

I couldn't find anything on the FSA site either, but I see that the Stroud and Swindon BS have an attractive 1 year bond at 7.05%."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

I think this S&S bond is a two year bond.0 -
I found this on their website:
FSA Register No. 206080, which when you visit, www.fsa.gov.uk/register/ comes up as Authorised, so should be OK to invest up to 35K limit. (7.11% from 18th Aug)

Looks like they are a small outfit though as they only list one branch, (Epsom), so it looks like investing over the internet or mail.
Anyone had any experience of their customer support/services

I've had my ISA with them since the start of this tax year.
Very, very efficient.
Emailed Tuesday asking for application pack. Arrived Wednesday, duely returned with opening cheque. Friday received letter they couldn't verify identity, I called them (very helpful and willing to please). Sent ID documents Friday which arrived Monday. Wednesday received certificate of investment.
Subsequent deposit was sent one day (to freepost address), receipt 2 days later.
They wrote a letter before the interest rates went down and apparently they write everytime there is a rate change.0 -
Hi..I have recieved a form to apply for the 7.11% bond.
I saw this comment on another forum .. "They are the best capitalised society going - shedloads of reserves - so a safe place for your cash as well!"
Being a small institution..are they more at risk from this mortgage lending problem at the moment? ian0
