Having lurked on this thread (and read others featuring Missk) I have reached the conclusion that the OP is certainly a troll. It took me 15 minutes to find the actual person behind missk-ensington using only google and posts she has made on other forums. I cannot believe that she wouldn't cover her tracks better if she was ACTUALLY doing all the dodgy dealings she says she is.

Of course, if I am wrong and you aren't a troll missK, might I suggest you:
    a) re-evaluate your moral compass
    b) become a little more surreptitious about your sources of income on public internet forums

I agree - the whole MSE ethos...

If you agree, is it just that the "thanks" button underneath my post is broken?

It's really starting to annoy me at the moment. I know you're not the only one but you've happily let me thank you on a few threads this week without any thanks for my bothering to reply to you.

It's like some people think they're time and opinion is more worthwhile than mine. No need to thank the little people so long as they're thanking you.

Sorry, Elle, it wasn't intentional. I pressed the Quote button, so didn't think to go back and press the Thanks button afterwards. It's more a case of 'head up bottom' with me than 'nose in the air'. Apologies again and I'll make sure I'm more active with my appreciate in the future.

Yes, that's what inclines me to think BS rather than BF. The woman may be an idiot but she's obviously no fool (if you see what I mean) and she must know how many people posting on here work for DHS/JCP etc. It would be quite simple to track her down if she were to be investigated.

If she is working as a NA as well as her student there is no way she can do 20 hours a week EVERY week. She may be able to some weeks but physically you can't fit it in and still remain legal (I admit to doing it on the odd week) the uni will go nuts if she endangers people with too many hours and while I admit to double backing (doing 2 out of 3 shifts on the same day) on the odd occasion it is unsustainable. The uni can potentially throw her off the course if she does a bank shift then placement on the same day and they discover it.

I've just been through this (admittedly not pregnant but have 3 children) and it resulted in serious damage to my health - and really I did over stretch myself (and resulted in my getting a lower class degree than I could have achieve). My immune system got so low that I ended up contracting pneumonia (probably off of someone I was nursing) because I was overworked, I never really fully recovered from that, but ended up being admitted to hospital with pancytopenia requiring several blood transfusions. That was with working 15hours on average on top of my student placements (30 hours a week) - seriously it's not worth the damage to her health - she'll cope for a short length of time then crash and burn.

  • Just to add to the cardiac stuff. I used to see a bloke who did the best cardiac arrest I ever ever seen (apart from the real thing of course). He used to get all the new doctors every August, and they were sometimes a bit on the cocky side and wouldn't be told it was an act. Don't quite know how he did it but he was GOOD.

Loopy - halfway through this thread I thought as you did about the driving. I wondered how the OP was allowed to drive a car to her skating sessions, when she could black out at any time - either alone in the car, or whilst doing a tripple toeloop - either way it would be extremely dangerous so I fear as do many others, that there is something that does not add up here. How much money does the OP actually have coming in? I mean, she doesn't do any of the renovation work herself but can afford to pay others to do it for her which is extremely expensive - based on her nil income and only benefits on which to pay her mortgage, I feel that this doesn't add up either. We just had our hallway redecorated and in labour costs alone it cost over 1k plus the materials - God knows what it would cost to do up a whole house - many times over.

Suzi I don't see why this would put you off going back out to work to be honest? I take offense to the implication that being self-employed means you must be screwing the system! I earn my money within the system thanks, I'm only self-employed because it's the only job I can do that doesn't require childcare (and I'm not willing to even try childcare again while my son is under 5 because of a series of bad experiences).

Working is working whether you work for yourself or someone else. If you go self-employed you get a lot more in TCs initially but if your business takes off, these will go down accordingly until you can hopefully not need them at all down the line. The only time people wind up continually pocketing the high benefits year in, year out is when they fiddle their books - just be honest and there's not a problem is there?!

I was not having a go at you or anyone else Elle and also haven't rubbished Miisk's other claims-please don't take what I said in the wrong way.
I am still seriously considering this-and will do it the proper way like you!

It just stuck in my craw the way she is so determined to screw the sytem-ie her dla claim etc,and despite the fact she and her mum have lied to get their own way she rubbishes her father for doing the same. I actually blame her parents-what example did she have?

I am still glad I saw this thread as it's reminded me of skills I am wasting,I have had some fantastic pm's with advice and will be replying to them but my internet access is off and this is pay and go and not much left!

    To change the subject:
My daughter has got 3 A grade A'S-waiting for her English which she was happiest about anyway-some of her marks were 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her Uni place to study english and spanish law at Canterbury has already been confirmed-woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ETS-A grade in English too!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

If you'd read the OP's previous posts you'd see that she is very well off because of the way she lies and manipulates the system. She seems to have been getting HE funding, disability benefits, taxcredits etc. This may be a load of codswallop but if she exists, she's certainly not poor!
