Please complain about SKY and email OFCOM with all your complaints to put pressure on it to ban 0870 altogether. If we can inundate OFCOM with complaints, perhaps they will listen and ban it altogether or force the companies to give us alternative landline numbers to call. I have been complaining to Virgin about this and cc'ing my emails to OFCOM. Let's face it, these companies are not going to give up making easy money at our expense. I am sick of it. If you have got a complaint with sky these three e-mail addresses all go straight to the department that can get your problems sorted.
Just to say that I've tried sending a complaint email a while ago to the allcustomercare.... address and it was returned as undeliverable saying the recipient not recognised. I've tried the james murdoch one and seems to have gone through ok though, fingers crossed.0 -

Just wanting to say that both times I've used the freephone number over the past couple of days I've been in a queue for over 30 minutes before getting through to foreigners I could barely understand. Neither of them could solve my problem and both of them cut me off when they tried to transfer me to the technical support people :mad:.
I had more success by using the 0870 number and going through to disconnections to express my dissatisfaction - got an answer to my query within a couple of minutes that way.
Needless to say I haven't received any reply to my email to James Murdoch of Saturday.0 -

Sorry:( But at least you had some joy with the other e-mail addreses I listed.When I have phoned Sky on the FREEphone number I have had the usually 'you call will be answer within xx minutes' but within a few minutes I am usually speaking to someone.I thoughts this was down to Sky paying for the call but I guess I must of been lucky.:)sometimes you're the pigeon, sometimes you're the statue!0 -

No worries edna, maybe would be an idea to edit the previous post?
With the latest problems, you get the "xx minutes" but in reality it is taking twice as long as that and then you get through to someone useless! :rolleyes:
In normal circumstances the freephone number would be great I'm sure.0
