Isn't it great-hope everyone's mini-mes have got their places-these kids work so hard and all the negative press is ,frankly, an insult!

Yes, well done to all the mini-mes.

And yes, the press will be slating them before the end of the day no doubt! Sad isn't it?

I wouldn't bother remarking to be fair. I gained 1 mark in my Business, waste of £30.

If I were you I would concentrate and work really hard this year and take some resits in january.
    Thanks!
I just realised though, I meant to start a new thread and wasn't paying attnetion and so posted it in this one instead, so deleted it and will repost!

I'd be happy to pay £30 for one mark!!

Yup, DS2 got his place, so he'll be off to join his big brother at the end of next month! Just DS3 left at home!

I haven't seen DS2 since he went out to get his results ... I HOPE he gets back soon!

  • lol. Congratulations to all of your children. I'm sure they deserved their grades - it's always nice to see hard work pay off.

Strangely my DS1 and DS2 are in the same Uni town as well leaving DS3 at home, although DS3 isn't planning to go to uni as he wants to get a job after his A levels.

My DS2 went out celebrating after work and crawled back as happy as Larry at 1am..hope yours turned up in a reasonable condition too!

No idea what condition he's in: he stayed out all night and sent a text message at 6 am to say he'd stayed with a friend I've never heard of but was now on his way home. Bedroom door is shut so no doubt he's catching up on his beauty sleep! And I'm off out soon ...

Never mind, at least he doesn't have phone calls to make!
