    Not been that great today

    - did comps this morning - still have not won anything

    - went out for lunch - tut tut - although was only local cafe and spent £4 in total - so wasnt TOOOO bad

    - check bank account and am still out of OD, which I intend to close at the end of the month (provided I can keep out of it til then!) But have closed most of it down only leaving £100. :j

    - brought more crimbo pressies - levi roots book for my dad and some slippers for mum. Asked my sis what she wants, and suprise suprise, wants money! as she is off to Aus for xmas, so am going to get her some Aus dollars. At least it is easy - can't get a bargain tho can I?!!
Thats about half my xmas shopping done now :xmastree:
    With 4 paydays to go!

Will make dinner out of freezer/cupboard/veggie plot 2nite and make lunch for 2moro so I dont end up spending again!

Hope everyone is having a good day so far :hello: and hi to Piquant!

  • evening all

after my mamoth run yesterday, today have achieved sfa

we headed up to a fruitfarm and did lots of our own picking. Got 2 massive tubs of strawberries and another one of rasberries. Was def cheap way of getting fruit but now i need to think what to do with it......frozen 2 big tubs of rasberries and eaten most of the strawberries LOL

However, it did end up being more expensive than planned. £20 in petrol to get there, and extra entry fee of £13 to go into the fun park bit where we did a maze, trampolines, bouncy pillow, other fun stuff. (it was actually worth it as we had such a great afternoon) £17 on lunch for 3.

Then on way home, went into argos and bought breadmaker and slowcooker. Been trying to get on all the local freeserve groups for weeks without luck and just caved :( Still, my breadmaker can do jam too which is ok i suppose

Tomorrow will be a better day
