How long does it take to defrag?

Also unless your disc is very fragmented defragging will make very little difference to the performance of your PC.
I would think that a defrag taking 24 hours would say quite a bit about how fragmented the PC is
Lime, run the defrag program, and get it to analyse the hard drive, see what it says about how fragmented and all that jazz. Copy+paste if you can.0 -
Actually, I don't like the vista defragger....unless I'm missing something, you can't see what's going on with it like you can in XP, or AM I missing something ?!?!!?!?......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Assuming it is actually defragging something and not hanging for some reason. I kno wyou can buy big discs these days but 24 hours is a long time for a defrag.It's my problem, it's my problem
