Hi folks,

Groupon has been in touch and said this was simply an admin error and the e-vouchers will be snet out as promised at 2pm after the day of purchase.

Penelope - this "admin error" occurred last time they ran this offer. I ordered two vouchers. First I got two messages saying that they wouldn't be sending the code by e-mail, then later I got one e-mail with a code. They've never sent me the second code that I paid for - I emailed them several times to tell them but they did not reply. If you have a contact with them, please let them know that they have a disastisfied customer and if anybody there wants to do something about it I'd be grateful. Thanks

Groupon photobox voucher - No email here either - I would strongly recommend that MSE does not use this site again - feel very let down that Martin recommended this site

I've had the same email from this deal that says I'll be getting the voucher by other means - I'll leave it until after 2pm and see what happens!

In reply to the question about film processing there are still some places about that process for you although it is more expensive than it used to be due to lack of demand. We have a friendly camera shop here in my town who does each film for a couple of quid, and my husband bought himself a negative scanner so we get process only- this has paid for itself really quickly as we both use Holgas, and he has a medium format camera which is pricey! If you send normal films away expect to pay approx £8 per film. Peak Imaging are good quality prints but are in the higher price range...

I went for the Groupon Photobox offer too and got the same message about voucher by other means. Since I applied on Thursday and it's nearly midnight Friday I'm getting that horrible feeling I've been 'had'... Will wait a while longer to see what happens but this doesn't exactly inspire confidence.:(

I called groupon up today on their free phone number (0800 007 5719) to let them know my order was placed on Wednesday and I was yet to receive anything (and this was Friday 9am). They assured me that they would send the voucher now by email by the Monday or the Tuesday of next week and if I had not received it by Monday, I was to call them and just ask for my money back.

I will wait till Monday 9am, and if I do not have anything by then, I will definitely be calling for a refund.

If something is too good to be true, it most probably is. I really did not expect MSE to be advertising something like this.

What sort of system are they running where obviously some people get the deal offered as shown and others just seem to get ignored and possibly lose their money to-boot? As one of the latter category I shall see what can be done to get things sorted on Monday. Meanwhile I'm unimpressed with MSE having promoted this on this occasion - the first time and hopefully the last!

Having just posted on the other thread discussing lack of Groupon voucher codes I thought I'd see if it was being dealt with by MSE anywhere else. Clearly there are lots of people still without their vouchers, which is very disappointing. I'm especially sorry as I passed the deal on to several friends, none of whom have heard anything either. Groupon need to get their act together!

I've just registered with Snapfish and received 40 free (6"x4") prints worth £3.60. In total, I had nearly 100 photos to print, so cheekily tried the code 1PENCE2010 at the checkout and they deducted another £4 - so had a total saving of £7.60. Thanks to the MSE Team once again.
