It was 3k last year and £3,600 this year. Is there a set increase for the ISA allowance every year?

    No. It was £3,000 for quite a few years. It was announced in last year's budget that the allowance was to be increased to £3,600 this year. Will probably stay at that for a while and may be increased again some time in the future but definitely not a set increase every year.

    ISAs are set to continue indefinitely, the plans to make changes in 2007/08 were made a while ago, as far as I know there are no more plans for the near future to change the ISA allowances.
    Living the good life spending all my money but loving it!!
