Hi Richwill, welcome to MSE!
We have just got a new condenser last week to replace our vented one as I was sick of dragging it and the hose over by the back door and leaving it open, so I'm not noticing the bills yet, but I have noticed it does take a little while longer for the stuff to dry than it did do with the vented tumble drier.
