Actually i am trying to make a logo of a company
So i am looking for a photoshop type s/w

Google for either The Gimp, or paint.net
Both of these are free, and highly praised as being alternatives for PS. They aren't quite on the same level, but should be good enough for what you need to do.

You could try Gimp:

Or depending on what you want to do, you could buy Photoshop elements, which is quite a bit cheaper than Photoshop (about £70 I think).

£69 to be exact You can even download a free 30day trial from the Adobe website, which may suit your needs better?

As above, paint.net is free and similar to photoshop.
