Becles, So sorry to hear about your gran. I hope she is resting in peace now0

I think the tea room thing became The Office - maybe someone could confirm (is Taggie around
)[/quote]
The Tearoom and The Office were set up at the same time, by two different people, Tearoom by Pippi and The Office, by Cherokee.
The Tearoom had the Invision Plus format and people seemed to like this better, so the Tearoom was made into a basic forum for people to still use and The Office became the main forum of the two, with both sets of members.
Sorry, to hear your news Becles0 -
My thoughts are with you and your family Becles. I lost my gran to Alzheimers in similar circumstances a couple of years ago, so I know how tough these times can be.:grouphug:0

Jave - the receipt you need is the bill type thing they give you which shows exactly what you ordered as opposed to the credit card slip.
I always photograph my receipts, use my camera program to shrink them to the right size and upload them that way, no need for a scanner then!0 -
I have a really stupid question to ask, I am afraid! But I have my first ever MS job tonight, and am anxious to get it right!!
Ok... here comes the stupid question.... I have a Dine-in Pizza job tonight, and the Instructions say I need to ask for a receipt, which I need to send an electronic copy of to get reimbursed..... is a receipt different to the bill? Can I not just keep a copy of the bill, or do I actually need to ask for a seperate receipt??
Also- the instructions say I can use a Phone or a digital camera to upload the copy of the receipt- does this mean I can just take a picture of the receipt, and upload that, and thats enough?
Sorry for the questions- first time nerves here.... thanks in advance!
You need to ensure that you have an itemised receipt, so just a credit card payment receipt isn't sufficient.
I normally scan my receipts into my computer, but you can take a digital picture of them (obviously when you're away from the premises!) and then upload the picture. You will still need to keep your original receipt (and report) for the period of time that your MS company requires. Hth. x0 -
Thanks everyone.
Mam has been over this morning and said she just looked like she dropped off to sleep while reading her book. She's had some mini strokes before so they think she has just had a sudden massive one, and wouldn't have felt anything. The coroner will let us know.
At least she's out of danger and at peace now. She kept doing daft things at home, and had to have a family member or carer going in 2-3 times a day to make sure she ate meals and had her tablets etc. She lived near a local town high street and kept going missing by getting on the bus to random places. It was worrying especially in the winter when it was dark and she didn't have her coat on.
I normally take photo's of reciepts and upload them. If you use the macro or close up setting on the camera, it picks up the text better. Also I've found it's better taking pictures under my desk lamp with no flash, as sometimes the flash can spoil the picture, especially on thermal paper. Here I go again on my own....0 -
For receipts I've often used a 6"x4" piece of glass from a cheap photo frame and put that over the receipt when I take a picture of it - it holds it flat so it's easier to photograph.0
