  • Hello folk - yes I think Timmne's right, it was HP who renamed them Gyp and I think it's a gentle slur that they're trouble! They've given her a lot of gyp, me thinks! Have a great time in SA Timmne and Mrs T - I lived in Namibia and it's spellbindingly different to here so a great place for a memorable honeymoon.

Ellie, enough of you telling timmne off for logging on - I've heard a rumour you can't stop looking at the welsh jobs on the job boards! when are you due to sprog out?

well done on your wins - I can't wait to do a bookies!

I've got another 5 weeks left yet - this is my second so PRAY she comes early  I can't go far to do jobs now cause I'm too big and it hurts too much to walk even with the brace on so will be looking for more phone jobs/surveys so I can sit on the sofa and DH will be happy. I tell you I've never been so addicted to anything as much as I am to MSing now. I'm going to have to go to the bookies to put an accumulator on even if I'm not doing it for GAP!!!!

    Hello

i was wondering if someone that is on grassroots would know the answer to this.. i was wondering when we have to put our payment info in do we need to add the Building Society Roll No? and if so how do i find that out? Thanks!

I think it's only if you're paying it into a building society account.

I've filled in plenty of forms in the past that ask for one but as I've nearly always been paying into a bank account I've never needed it. The one time I think I was paying into a building society was my student loan, and that went through fine with just the other details. I assume it's some sort of sort code/account number combination.

    PS: From an earlier suggestion:

I do advise that when you're out and not MSing that you talk about it with people while you're waiting to be served, just long enough for a member of staff to hear what you're talking about, but then stop as though you've realised they've heard you and they weren't supposed to.

I'd gone out to a pretty new pub with some family just after I'd done my first job. Now the service wasn't very good, it wasn't bad but you knew it was a new place and people were still finding their feet. Because I'd just doe my first MSing job that day my family were asking what it involved etc. The waitress came to get our food order and caught us by surprise, but the attention we got after that was noticably more than our fair share.

My first was 10 days late so I'm hoping this one will not be like her sister. If anyone can recommend anything else for me to do to keep me busy indoors (and no - THAT's not even an option lol) please feel free to let me know. I'm doing surveys for a few companies so may see if there are any more companies I can join.

In fact i was MSing on the Wednesday morning, and had her on the Wednesday evening. How's that for dedication? :p
