Whew what a day! Had to rush to get to the clothes shop after DH persuaded me to have a lay in.........managed the shop fine but had to wait so long for the return it took me over the time and I managed to lose DH in there. Don't ask. He needs reins. He said so himself.
Had to go back home for a cuppa then before venturing to the bookies. This one was much nicer and had a ladies loo. Not a nice loo, but at least a separate one. As DH was with me and it was quieter wasn't a bad job at all apart from an old guy who's eyes nearly popped out. The staff that served me wasn't that friendly though and didn't ask for my card even though it was a bonus day and I had it on me.
Does anyone give their card over if they don't ask?
Then I was going to return an item for one of my EDR jobs but realised it was still at home. Never mind, I can pop back tomorrow.
Then got home, tried to do the clothes shop report and for 10 mins panicked as it wouldn't work. Then realised its the one that I have to start in Firefox and copy and finish in IE. I'm glad I've nothing on tomorrow. I'm knacked now
And I wish I was going to bingo......am a little bit jealous. I did see a bingo job once, but it was miles away. And for some reason I'm not getting all the alert emails. Maybe it's just me.
Off for another cuppa and a nice relax16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120 -

There was a bingo job a few miles from you that I had an email about. Was tempted but 50 miles for me! If it was a bit closer I would have had it!PPI Reclaimed -

I've just clicked on the AA link on page 1 of this thread and can't seem to get to a site. Does anyone else have a problem with this? I was going to apply to be a MS for theis company.0

That's it - I am now officially jealousI've sent a message to see if there's any reason I don't see local ones. Like you, the one I saw is an hour away. And seeing I'd need to do the report that night (I don't do mornings
) it just would be too much.
Re all the chat about phone shops, I've never done one! Every time I go into a phone shop I have to wait forever to be served. And as I have a beloved and much adored 3G iPhone don't think I can I can listen to anyone telling me about anything else. It spoils you ya see16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120 -

I have done nearly every shop in my town and hide my face when I go past some of them in case they know it was me! I have never been in such rude shops tho, one last week was ghastly but really tempted to accept the deal!
What is so good about the iphone? I have not done an O2 so dont know a lot about them. I had a Samsung Tocco which I sent back within the 14 days as did not get on with it. I do like the look of a Blackberry though.PPI Reclaimed -

I was on Orange PAYG before the iPhone came out and am a serious Apple fan & have only ever had macs at home
So the iPhone was too good to miss when it first came out. I love that you can check and reply to your emails anywhere at no extra cost, including browsing the web. I'm addicted to my iBook so instead of having that near to me or needing to pop into an internet cafe if I'm away I can just check as I go. The GPS is brilliant and great for directions. I also use it to send myself report notes. I send myself an email from home and just reply on my phone with all my notes. Quick and easy. Plus fiddling with a phone looks totally normal and you can check you haven't missed anything or fill it in as you go, especially if you have a lot of names/descriptions to remember.
I do use the stopwatch though it doesn't have split timings or the ability to save as some mobiles do. I'm thinking of getting a real cheapie digital watch as it would be easier to use that and just have the iPhone on the notes page. The battery life on it isn't the best but I wouldn't be without it.
I don't know much about Blackberry's as they don't appeal to me.
I also switched broadband to O2 for £7.50 a month and it is brilliant. The best ISP I've had and a bargain at that price!16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120
