This seems to be what they pay for each assignment.

If that was genuine I think the expert mystery shoppers on here would have heard of them. Even if it was genuine, why would they want to send you the money before you do the job? I'm sorry it just sounds too good to be true, and you know what they say...

The email says i have been chosen as a mystery shopper, and they will send me £300 when i send them my bank details.I have replied saying i dont have a bank acc,but they can send me the £300 by cheque or postal order. Will see what their reply is.

    Classic scam tactics unfortunately.

What's the email address? You might need to check the headers to find the real address. I'd be astonished if it was genuine.

It's a 419 scam, or for us oldies the Spanish Prisoner.

    Avoid like the plague.
It's not a lot of work unless you have to do it.

Can anyone help regarding the RE pub meal jobs. Do you need to take children or is it optional? Thanks

Does it say in the briefing notes whether you can take children? If it doesn't than take it that you can take them. Remember though you only have a certain amount of money you will be reimbursed. HTH
  • Now I don't mean to be picky but I've just done a search on one of the MS sites and found a job (no names mentioned) - which is paying £2.50. Now I know there is a £5 reimbursement but how the hell can they offer a £2.50 fee - that's an actual insult as far as I'm concerned considering the time it takes to fill in the questionnaire. Rant over  .

I was trying to make the same point about the food jobs where you get a reimbursement which doesn't quite cover the cost of the items they specify you have to buy, and then there's no fee either. So effectively we are paying for the privilege of filling out a report!

In the real world people are supposed to be entitled to minimum wage, but apparently not in the MS world!

Morning guys - Business Blueprints have asked me to put them on the list on the first page - before I do, does anyone have any feedback on them as I haven't worked for them before!

Does anyone know which MS company does a chain of sandwich shops named after one of The Beatles?

    They're London only.

Can you please PM me the actual name of this company? Just that I know London's sandwich shops very well and can't think of this one...and yes, I know who all the Beatles were!!:rotfl:

It is probably so that they can actually keep the client. One of the reasons I don't post much on this forum is that people are constantly mentioning client names, this is against the terms that they sign up for when they join mystery shopping companies.

Other MS Companies, will scour places like these, see who has what, see what fee they are offering (as this is also mentioned) then undercut it, without having to do much work.

Also, there is a lot of new people doing mystery shopping, so there will always be people that will do these jobs as they could be going into these particular shops anyway and spending that amount of money, so the job is worth more.

I am a moderator of a mystery shopping forum and we clearly state that client names and fees should not be mentioned and if they are, these are instantly deleted by a member of the moderating team.

Anway, this is why the fees keep dropping
  • Can anyone help I did an assignment for RE at the end of August and I don't think that I have been paid for it. I have checked payment made section which I have not been paid for. On the payment pending section it does not show that it is pending either. They have got the assignment as they have given me points for the job that I did. Has anyone got any ideas what to do next. Do I submit a ticket?

Ring RE, and if you can remember who it was, ask for your manager for that job by name. Or just say, "Can I speak to whoever deals with X client please"
