The Mystery Shopping thread - part 5

Hi, just an update on my problem viewing sandwich shops last week. I rang up and they have a new rule - you can now only shop for 1 of the 2 main sandwich chains - not both. Whichever chain you shopped last, you have supposedly been banned from the alternative chain!
So I asked them to switch me, because one of the sandwich chains has lots of outlets, one has hardly any!
Bit annoying that we weren't given a choice.
Hope this helps others.0 -
Speaking of log-ins. Why does my RE account allow me to 'automatically' log in when I start to type and my Gap one doesn't. Is it some setting on my PC? This has been confusing me for a while.Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.0

No idea whether compatible with Mac, I'm afraid (sorry!)
not yet, only for Windoze for now0 -
Thanks for that - hope I'm banned from the right one as there is definitely one I prefer!
Will wait and see0 -
They don't have the three letter sandwich shops where I live now, so I think it's better to stick with the French ones. Although I'm going to London for a few days and was hoping to get some free three-letter food while there, maximising my moneysaving holiday which so far is costing me £16 for a 3-day break!!0

I can see both 3 letter and french. I rang about the underground ones and they said that they dont have any across the country at the moment (due soon). She said there would be no reason why I wouldnt be able to see them all. so am a bit confused!
wow flickering ember thats great moneysaving hol! well done0 -
Hi, I was talking about the 3 letter and french stores - I never do the underground ones.
hopefully if you can see both it means they have changed their minds?
Personally I think it's silly because it makes the answers more meaningful if you actually shop at competitor stores and can compare service.0 -

I used to be registered with RM but havent done anything for over a year. Just went on their website to see if I could reregister and it now says I am too old!!! Boohoo - am over the hill already. Max age is 33 apparently. Is it worth emailing them to ask if I can be reinstated? Also, I am registered with RE, and a few others. The secret codes that are used here (!) - is there a list or a person with a list that I could contact to see who else I could register with?Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0

33?!? I turn that next week! I've been desperately trying to persuade myself that it's not old, but here it is - confirmation I'm a fogey!
PS The first page of this thread has loads of valuable info including a list of various MS companies, and links tho their pages.0
