Cheapest very basic laptop-even re-furbished??

Hi all,

Not a clue about these...but one would be usefull! All I need is i guess 40gig hard drive, 500/600RAM (that's as technical as I get-please don't blind me with figures-I can only just understand the above!). Would probably attach a 'THREE' pay as you go dongle for web access.

I only really browse (1h a day max) & e-mail-hardly ever download stuff-no games, etc...

really don't care if it does not look 'trendy' or is not latest thing....any suggestions?? I seem to remember a web-site somewhere that sold refurbs (made up from discarded computers) & gave money to charity??

Any suggestions??
