Ah - but would a water meter be of benefit to us with large families?
Sounds good for 2 people but there's 5 of us!
Hundreds of posts on that question.
It depends on the Rateable Value of your present accomodation.
Look up the charges for, say, 300 cubic metres pa (a high average for 5 people) with your water company and compare it with what you are paying in unmetered charges.
If you do get a meter, and it costs more, you can revert back to your present system provided you do so within 12 months.0 -
