I went out today in my automatic plastic replica car - just to keep the theme going.
I find an auto at its best for Sunday driving... Stop start etc. As all the morons are out cluttering the roads going to garden centres and the local Harvester for badly cooked prepacked food meals... :eek:Genie

Hi All,
One way to look at how to drive an automatic is to watch what bus drivers do, as practically all of these are autos.
Most never take the gearbox out of drive and simply just use the handbrake when stopped. Some gearboxes, Volvo ones I think, do automatically go into neutral when the parking brake is applied then back into drive as soon as it is removed. I'm sure I read somewhere that some 'posh' cars do this also! lol
Cheers
