Open a dos command prompt or go to start>run then type cmd, in the black terminal window type ping 213.123.20.90 and you should get a time-to-live (TTL) response and round trip time in Milli-seconds (mS), if you get no response I would contact your service provider as there might be a routing problem in the ISP's WAN Cloud (the bit before the internet, like a big network)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

In the web browser, what is the error code i.e it may appear as HTTP 404 error or something?

  • The reason why people should "care", Espresso, is because certain websites being blocked in a spyware-prone browser such as Internet Explorer, suggests that the user's computer is indeed infected.

And these blocked websites are the "symptoms" of an infected PC, and the infection can often cause much more damage than simply blocking a few pages.

I'd suggest downloading a program such as AdAware and performing a scan.

Once the scan is complete, delete/remove/quarantine any infected files (whichever is suitable) and then uninstall AdAware - it has a tendency to slow down computers whilst installed.

Absolute tosh! The OP says that they have ran anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. The inaccessible site may be in IE, Internet Options, Privacy Tab, Sites but Firefox is a better browser, so it's not worth it really.
