Hey guys, just wanted totest your brains cos mine is getting pickled by thinking about it all.......
I have £3,400 on a barclaycard which has just clicked back onto interest to be paid on
How can I transfer to another card without paying a penalty?
Can i transfer say £3,390 leaving £10 to be paid next month without having to hand over £50 penalty fee?
Cheers

You can transfer the full balance £3400 or even more (pushing your barclaycard into small positive balance). The only fee you pay is Balance Transfer fee (depends on card, free for some cards) ... 0 -
thats what i meant sorry.......
if i transfer balance they charge 2% or £50.....
just wondered if there was a way of avoiding that?0 -
The fee is charged by the new CC company not Barclaycard and they have no idea what your Barclaycard balance is so you can transfer any amount.itsbeef wrote:thats what i meant sorry.......

The only way to avoid it is find a card that does not charge the fee. I believe the HSBC card is fee free:
