....and then I got bad news.... my other BF has just lost her baby. She was only 7 weeks or so, and it's not yet been confirmed by scan, but she has been bleeding a lot and is pretty sure within herself. She only 'had it confirmed' by her GP yesterday, was home an hour and started to bleed. Her useless hospital can't even fit her in for a scan till next week.

She says she is OK, and she does sound it, still a bit upset but can see that she has had some good luck in other ways.

    Nice thoughts for her please.

Oh hun, big hugs for your best friend (((:grouphug: )))

When i had my MC 3 years ago, the hospital had me waiting around all day then said i wasn't to get a scan, they went on my HCG levels they were only 48 i was 6 weeks and they should have been around 600 . The staff just kept asking if my shoulders hurt as apparently thats a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. For them its all routine stuff and i don't think they realise how hard it is for us to deal with. (all i can say is thank god Johnathan ross was on that night, it was the only thing that actually took my mind off what was happening to me).

Slightly O/T I have only ever come across one really fab MW at the hospital (after 5 pregnancies) and she was newly qualifed and still very eager that sad thing is she will probably get used to it. Thats why i don't think i will do midwifery now i don't want end up like that.

TIA your new venture sound very exciting :T good luck with it all missus xx

I am not pegging out the washing it came nice just long enough to actually wash the clothes washing machine knocked off and now its hammering it down:rolleyes:

Just done a bank reconciliation as the statement arrived today, and we are in the black:j:j It's not by much, but considering a few months ago we had managed to go over our £500 overdraft I'm chuffed. I'm going to try and increase the amount we have in. I might even be able to buy everyone waterproof coats for this winter!

I haven't even looked at today's list :D (don't tell Pigpen otherwise I'll be put on report. I've been doing badly recently ) I did manage to vacuum everywhere and do the sink and loo yesterday. Tomorrow I'm out all day - on my own (oh what bliss) DH is taking some time off so I'm leaving him with the LO as I have to take DS to a rugby day. I'll drop him off then go shopping for some essentials I need (like birthday presents for DD1 and DS for next week )

Right, I'm off to pick up all the mess that is lying around before mopping the kitchen floor.

Serena - i'm glad your son has his plaster off. I definitely did too much with mine hence still having problems 6 months later. I've been sensible since the op I had and it's definitely a lot better. Tell him a scary flylady will shout at him if he does too much!!!! We're hoping to go to the allotment later today for one last big weed but it keeps pouring with rain so not sure if it will happen.

    My list is now;
    Tuesday / wednesday list
    - clean bathroom
    - clean bedroom
    - get children to clean out animals
    - vacuum all down stairs
    - vacuum all upstairs
    - pack
    - probably another washing load
    - dry for ten minutes and hang
    - weed whole of allotment
    - HHC in study
    - pick up dog and cat food
    - get school shoes for DS

List for tomorrow if I get time:
    - home manicure for me
    - home pedicure for me
    - home manicure for DD
    - home pedicure for DD
    - home eye lash tint for me

I will get my list done, I will get my list done....children unloading dishwasher as I type. They're enjoying it too much so i'm going to go and yell at them :rotfl: (only kidding :D ) xx

Just what do you have to do round here to get a dog biscuit? I worked my butt off yesterday..... I even did all of the ironing.

Vanilla, pretty pennies - hugs for both of you

Really carp day - DH is being messed round by work again, boring but stressful. I am just waiting for the 'I have quit' phone call, don't blame him in the least but OMG financial freefall here we come.

Anyone up for a 4-4.30 HHC? I did a bit of the DR and K this morning before work but still a few bits to do.

    JAM - congratulations!:j :j :j

I can't believe the feeling of relief I've got now that I'm getting the finances in hand. The overdraft is the only debt we have, and I'm determined to only use it as a last resort. It's all thanks to the MSE boards!

By the way Rupert Penry-Jones is gorgeous! I don't normally go for blond hair and blue eyes, but he's an exception. I loved him in Persuasion (put a man in period costume and I melt!)
