G&B - thanks for the reminder about school shoes. Just made my two try theirs on. DD ok, DS needs new ones so need to put that on the list as I don't reckon my chances when we get back (three days before school starts). Both my two have very narrow feet - D fitting. Usually have to buy Es (as in fitting not drugs) and then put insoles in.
My list was too scary so i've deleted what i've done;

That's brill - I know I'm not the only person who has been abroad and longed to bung a load through because it could be drying in the hot sun instead of coming back, dirty to be washed and tumble dried because the weather is so awful here!

Afternoon flyladies!! I flitted past this morning as well, but pc playing up, so gave up in favour of doing some actual real flying - in the livingroom, hall and stairs, as I did the kitchen yesterday.
vanilla - hugs
prettypennies - hugs, I'm sorry to hear of your loss
kaz - hugs for you too. Have some virtual chocolate and a trashy magazine too.
mudbath and hex - have a great time on holiday. Mudbath, your list looks like mine the week before we left - I was shattered, but I really appreciated it when I got home again!
:hello:to all the new flyladies!
I meant to go down to the allotment this afternoon, but started a new (to me - Oxfam bookshop!) book over coffee, and have just now finished it. I really should have been weeding...
DS1 has had his plaster removed. The bone under the thumb has healed completely, but the one the little finger side has not, but a plaster would not be helpful. He has been told to do no sports or any activity which may carry risk of falling. In the car on the way home, he asked me if I thought going to the pub for a drink was running the risk of falling over - I said definitely yes! Mudbath, I passed on your comments about not doing too much. As it hurts to do some things, I think he'll be careful.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Afternoon all!
Just back after a morning at work - why aren't term time only jobs, term time only????
Anyway - got about 45 mins before Gingerkids and me are off to the dentist. I'm such a wimp - so I take the kids to force me to be brave - bit like aversion therapy! Still - the lovely south african accent of the dentist also helps to take your mind off things!
