Tia warm (((hugs))) to your friend. We lost our first baby when I was 13wks and our second at 7wks. It is so, so sad at the time, and there'll always a little bit of my heart devoted to those two that didn't make it. When I look at my three gorgeous girls, I can't quite believe I ever thought I'd never be able to have children. Send her my kindest thoughts, and I hope she'll feel better soon.MMSSB Club Founder Member

kazmeister I second what hex2 said. You can drive yourself mad doing everything in the house. I ran myself ragged thinking... why isn't anyone else doing anything, why can't they see it??
In a really calm conversation with my OH, he said.... "I don't see it, because you do it, and if it's not done, it doesn't register, because ...you do it"
It makes total sense, however infuriating it is. SO, my solution was, and is, to tell everyone what they should do. Give lists, print out rotas, whatever works for you, but make sure you tell your OH what you expect him to do.
Honestly, there really is no point in doing it all, and resenting everyone else for not doing their bit.
I would expect a huge amount of opposition on it, but oh well, you're not having a happy and relaxed time now either!!!
Good luck!!!MMSSB Club Founder Member

Tia (hugs))) to your friend.
HHM. Do you know all that i have asked DH to do in the morning is open the curtains as he is ALWAYS last up and he never does. I am sure that it can';t be that difficult to remember.January Grocery 11/3740 -
I'd agree with Sarah. My children have a rota which only contains two things each a day...recycling and emptying the kitchen bin. They also have to feed the animals and keep their rooms tidy. It's not a huge amount but it makes me feel i'm not the only one who's doing chores relentlessly. My DD has actually started asking if she can do anything else extra to help. DH will always be untidy BUT I refuse to let him keep all his carp everywhere in the house and every night when he comes in I ask him to do something however small (today's job is to change the kitchen units around :rotfl: ). He does it and I don't moan at him
. That's the theory. They used to drive me mad and make me very resentful. Even if you just get them to have one or two jobs each at least you'll feel more in control xx

Also am feeling very proud of myself as DH has shown me how to list stuff on ebay and I've just stuck 2 items on that have been taking up space and could be making some dosh! (I know most of you ebay lots - but for a technophobe like me its a major achievement!)
See you later!0
