Not too bad - weather could have been better but we managed to get on the beach a few times and the kids had their bikes at the caravan so spent most of their time riding round on them - only thing is they both need bigger bikes so I've got to start looking for them now!

....and then I got bad news.... my other BF has just lost her baby. She was only 7 weeks or so, and it's not yet been confirmed by scan, but she has been bleeding a lot and is pretty sure within herself. She only 'had it confirmed' by her GP yesterday, was home an hour and started to bleed. Her useless hospital can't even fit her in for a scan till next week.

She says she is OK, and she does sound it, still a bit upset but can see that she has had some good luck in other ways.

    Nice thoughts for her please.

    Aaaaaaaaagh again

I have just found half the veg I prepared for them to cook yesterday (while I was at work 5 - 11pm) still in the tubs on the side in the kitchen. Why are we stupid enough to try and make an effort for them.

Well I think I am going to find that cleaner/housekeeper/or whatever it was he promised me and pay her out of the joint account. Perhaps then I might be appreciated a bit more.

    So do I

    a) kick @ss and lake them do and make an effort myself or

    b) do nothing like the rest of them

ps hugs for your friend tia

Tia - hugs to your friend. Yesterday I found the box which we put in a few bits to remind us of the baby we lost. Now I look at it and think well if i'd had that baby I wouldn't have the ones I've got now but at the time it was heartbreaking. Hugs to you too.

Kaz - i'd tell them to buck up their ideas. Why should you do all the work? If they don't help you I wouldn't help them - no washing, no ironing etc.

I've just made my children's day. The ice-cream van stopped outside and I usually say no. Today they asked and I fancied one myself - I could hardly have one and not let them have one!!! But who came up with the name 'bunny ears screwball' - sounds like Ann Summers to me!! :rotfl:

Now to find my list xx

    Awww Kaz -

You have just described my house perfectly. Pour yourself a glass of wine, sit and chill for an hour doing what you want to do! And tell hubby it's his turn to cook.;)

Kaz - hugs, but from what you have said if you go for option b they wont notice and you will still be unhappy. I would go for a. I made myself miserable for a long time getting more and more resentful of what everyone else wasn't doing, rather than using the same energy to get stuff done and to get people to pull their weight.

Tia - thinking of your friend.

Julie Jim/Serena - forgot to say good to see you back
