Neither can any of the others that do it but they seem to love it.. you don't have to be able to sing just kniwing the words for some of these would be an improvement!!

I have to laugh at us flyladies - we are soooo enthusiastic and hoping for loads of great flying days on a sunday but come friday we are all (well nearly all) moaning cos we didnt keep up!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love it! But I know that whatever we do mange it makes a difference and we wouldnt probably do as much on our own - well I wouldnt/didnt until I came on here - it is going to take me a while to get things in order but I am already seeing wee improvements about the place.

Thanks pigpen for keeping us going!! :T :T :T :T

I'll try to keep up - DD is on the promise that if she is helpful this week and next then she can possibly stay at ex's over the bank holiday weekend (which would mean I could go to the Matthew Street Festival for the first time :D ) So we start tomorrow with her own mini list. I'll post it for her on a sheet of paper and if she does the jobs we'll both be happier bunnies :D

I managed to get my curtains today 90" x 72" for £12 instead of an RRP of £70 :money::j I also picked up a food processor, I went to look for a cheap stereo for my room (with CD player in) but spotted the food processor for £25 (currently on ebay for £32.95 here ) :D so got that, then I popped to Mr Ts to get a cheap stereo (and some of the offers ;) ) and picked myself up a CD radio alarm clock for £14.96 so very happy with my bargains today again :D

Off to make my bed and then I may or maynot chase DD down her bed. She's less than 30 pages from the end of Harry Potter book 5 so I might let her finish it ;)

I have to admit I'm a bit apprehensive about joining in... although I've made huge inroads into the mess over the weekend thanks to the ideas and enthusiasm on last week's thread, I'm not sure I can keep up :o . I'm shattered. I don't want it to get back to how it was before  (my study and kitchen table are still disaster areas, but everything else is pretty much OK).

However, on the days I go into the office I leave home at 6.30am and get back around 9pm, so I tend to dump one lot of stuff on the way in and pick up another on the way out. By the end of the week there just seem to be piles of gym kit, clothes and plates/tupperware from lunch everywhere.

Maybe the first thing I should aim for is to not add to the mess, and then try make up some ground if I manage to keep my diary free for some from home days (although even when I plan to put on a load of washing, I seem not to find the time).

I don't know how you all do it... working, kids and keeping the house clean.:A I live on my own, so at least I don't have the kids/men/pets to contend with

I'm in for the week, hopefully :) I didn't get much done this weekend mainly cos I like to keep the weekends free. Which normally works if I can get the house reasonably tidy during the week :)

I am now cringing over the maggot situation and itching all over. At the moment we don't have that problem, but we are getting a fair few flys buzzing around the bin. I normally go out with the fly spray and give it a good buzz. Thankfully we have a man that comes and cleans the bin after collection.
