    Hi All.

Well I am up but feeling very uninspired. Just can't get around do wanting to do anything. Will be doing the Kitchen as it needs it.

I was planning on going to Ik*a today as DS wants to go to the Big Yellow Shop but I really don't feel in the mood. DH has got to go to Manchester tomorrow so he will have to stay in a hotel on Tuesday night. Plan on looking for a good movie to watch on sky and something nice to eat. Thankfully DS is at Kids club tomorrow so will have a little time with DD on her own. 3 more weeks to go for DD and 4 weeks for DS. Will be great if I can get her to have a sleep too :D:D

Hate washing underwired bras by hand? Same time/water by using one of these

I bought a couple of these from ebay.com and they are brilliant!!
They take 3 underwired bras and keep them safe in the washing machine.

They are around $3-$4 each plus shipping

I have never seen them anywhere here but they are fabulous.
    Only about 6" across

You can also use them for delicate underwear, tights, stockings, popsocks etc.

Just put laundry nets into the ebay search and you will find lots of listings.

:jSnap!! I didn't wake up till ten to nine. I can't remember the last time I had a lay in like that. I'm usually up at 6.00 am ish. Trouble is I feel like I've lost 3 hours of my day IYSWIM. Must start going to bed at a resonable hour as well. It's been 1.00 am gone for the last god knows how many nights. :o

It seems that a few of us have some time off this week. I have the entire week off which is lovely. I plan to get loads done so must stop sleeping till mid morning ;)

I need your help as well ladies. I have parcels to deliver and DS's bedroom to decorate this week. Please give me a kick if it appears I'm not doing them. I might do the parcels in the evening though. Not sure yet. But main priority is the decorating as Little Bruv has said he'll come over at the end of the week and lay the new carpet I'm going to buy..............with the money I earn after I've delivered the parcels.

Right off to find me list...................

Cute - what a good idea. Most of my bras have 'shed' a piece of wiring which then starts to get stuck in the drum!

  • Morning all,

I have loads of washing up to do but before I do that I must tell you about yesterday.

We have a French student staying at the moment and I got a call last night from their Group Leader telling me that the student was grounded and I was to keep her at home for the evening.

When I asked her why, she told me that some of the group had been feeding LAXATIVE chocolate to the others! No-one would own up so all 16 of them were grounded!

Teenagers - they are the same the whole world over! I really did have to stop myself laughing out loud!

Morning ladies, welcome to the newbies:D

Feeling a bit delicate here as we had a girly work night out last night at a colleagues house. A few too many margaritas were consumed:o Love working with such a great bunch of people;)
Hubby is back at work today:D Love him to bits but 2 1/2 weeks of him under my feet was beginning to grate:rolleyes: Not sure how well i will do today.

Morning ladies (and any men who may be lurking)!

    Welcome all new flyers!

Triker I know how you feel with the sneezing - I've been sneezing since I woke up. I've also had a headache now for 4 days which I think may be due to the air pressure (not sure) which is making me feel really horrible.

Welcome back Serena - was wondering when you'd be back. I'm really glad that you had a good holiday and that DS was able to do some watersports - it must have been tough watching everyone else doing things and not being able to join in.

Was making a raspberry fool for dessert last night after dinner and the cream wasn't whipping. Then OH announced that he'd invited friends from London to stay over on August 30th, without consulting me at all. This is going to be a real problem, as we a) don't have a spare room, b) haven't got a blow-up bed or anything, c) have no spare duvet, and d) barely have enough room in our flat for us, let alone guests, and of course e) he didn't ask me at all! Well the result was, that I was fuming, and the cream started to whip quite quickly after that! I still don't know how we're going to get the flat to cope with their stay and it'll be muggins here who has to sort it out, cos OH is at work! MEN!!!! [Rant over]

Anyway, had best get going with washing my hair, dressing and breakfasting so that I can cope with my list - was a bit lazy yesterday and didn't change the sheets, so have that to do today, and also the washing basket is overflowing.
