I've been on the pc for the last 45 minutes, and really must get on and do something!

In my defence, I have already put out the rubbish, put one load of washing in and one load in the tumbler - JillD - the laundry bag is full, so there are piles of clothes and bedlinen all over the house, all neatly sorted into colour piles - as soon as one cycle is done, I go collect another pile...I suspect that I shall trip over an overlooked heap of mouldy clothes sometime in September...

hi sexymouse - I'm still ploughing through emails, another 100 to go, so hope to find time to email you in a day or two!

First - get DS1 out of bed, to get up to hospital for 10.50. It's 'plaster off' day!

    See you later...

    :hello: Morning all,

I didn't keep up very well at all last week and felt very depressed last night looking around the house and the state it was in, thinking "Here we go again, another week... hamster on a wheel... all to do again... boring depressing routine of work-housework-sleep..." so I'm going to take it a bit easier this week and be easier on myself - if something doesn't get done one day I'm not going to carry it over to the next, and the next... - I'll just forget about it. Hmph. After all, "A tidy house is a wasted life" isn't it?! :D

So I’m following today’s list (thank god it’s the bathroom, I didn’t touch this last week :o)

Monday Minging & Flinging- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
Clear floors of guff and stuff
    Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains, shower curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
sweep and mop and deslop the floors in these rooms.
    Collect all the dirty laundry
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
    1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    2. Empty the cupboard and clean it out.. colour ordered bottles inside!
    3. Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
    4. If you have a shelf.. empty and clean it
    5. Grab yourself a toothbrush and scrub the manky bits between the tiles
A COUPLE OF MY OWN FOR THIS WEEK -

    1. See about booking concert tickets
    2. Glue my recipes into my book [strike](must get some glue!)[/strike]
    3. Sew hem on black trousers
    4. Activate debit card
    5. [strike]Change bank account info on Quidco[/strike]

Had decided to really get busy this week and get loads done, and guess what I have woken up feeling really unwell, so will need to take it easy today. NOt sure how far I'll get but this is my list for today:

Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains, shower curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
sweep and mop and deslop the floors in these rooms.
    Collect all the dirty laundry
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
    1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms

Morning all. I'm in again this week, last week fell apart after in-laws returned but I'll do this week as I need to get house sorted, we're going camping on Friday and I don't like coming back to a messy house! (Anyone lives in the South East want to come to a free 3 day camping and music party?)
Also need to pack all camping stuff, which means finding it!
My bathroom is pretty clean so I'm doing y own list, mostly things I've neglected over the weekend.

    Sweep floors
    Put washing away X2
    Clear off the table
    Wash up
    Clean kitchen
    DO THE GRILL PAN!!!!

If I manage that short list I think I'll be doing well as whatever I do the kids just undo minutes later.

    Morning all!

Haven't been in for a few weeks but I have been skimming the threads and keeping up with flying!

I have a good excuse though; as some of you may remember we had an offer on the house and whilst it was going through I didn't want to talk about it too much to anyone (not even family!) in case I jinxed it!

However, I am now happy to report that we exchanged last week :T :T :T

So, I now have to keep up with the housework so it is nice and clean for our lovely buyers AND pack up ready for our move, so wish me luck

Methinks lots of lists will be necessary, but I will start on this one today and have some thinking time before I make a plan of attack for moving....

It must be something in the air. We all seem to be a bit subdued this morning.
:grouphug: to all those that are feeling a bit unwell or down in the dumps.

I'm pottering around at a slow but steady pace myself this morning.

If anyone finds a bit of get up and go and fancies a HHC give me a shout I'll join you.

    HI folks

Hugs for those that need them...

Had 'his family' to stay this weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    1. Why is it children cannot close the patio glass door by the handle?? and insist in pushing it along with their muckky hands on the glass!
    2. Why is it children and adults cannot put drinks down on the table cloth or place mat? and put it direct onto a surface not covered and leave ring marks?
    3. Why is it children cannot hang up towels after showering? and leave them in a soggy heap on the floor?
    4. Why is it when his daughter changed her baby and whilst doing so it wee, on the bed duvet, the daughter calmly came down stairs with baby and sat chatting to me for about 10mins, and then when he dad came into the room, told him whilst laughing what had happened, he asked her, have you stripped the bed, no she goes,,,,,,,grrrrrrrrr, I am not upset, because babies do that sort of thing, but I am Bluddy annoyed at her for not saying anything earlier, and for her thinking it was so funny........... £27.50 to get duvet cleaned! grrrr............

Oh I have swept the Kitchen floor, washed up, and waited hand and foot on 9 people this weekend, going to clean the house tonight...........

I'd join you sexym but I'm having email woes again. Phoned my ISP this morning to tell them all about the events over the weekend. The lady I spoke to wanted me to forward one on to her. It was then that I found my outgoing email isn't - it's sitting stuck in the ether somewhere. So I'm sitting here waiting and watching

And then, about 10 minutes ago, the flooding emails started again so I phoned them back. At least they can see what's going on now for themselves and hopefully resolve it.
