I am not up on technology. My apartment in Italy has asked for my mobile number so that they phone me to find out arrival time. what do I give? do I need to include 0044. I have been told that if you give 0044 you drop the first 0 so 07767452123 (not my number) it becomes 00447767452123. Is that correct can some one explain this to me please.
Thanks

Yes - drop the first 0 and start with 0044 (or +44 as conventionally shown)."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

I tend to present the number in this format:
+44 (0) 7767 74521230 -
